Signed Oye Tadasane, dated 5th year of Tembun [1536], Edo Period (18th Century)
Of Yama Uba, with a reddish colour overall, the eyes with copper-gilt rims to the pupils, the hair in black, turning grey and straggling down from the forehead, the lips in red and the teeth with the ohaguro, the reverse well chiselled with signature and inscription Inri ju rei bara Matachichi Oye Tadasane, Tenbun gonen kugatsu - hi
