Accompanied by a certificate of registration as the 32nd Juyo Token [Important Sword] no.7915, issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai [Society for the Preservation of the Japanese Art Sword] on 30 October 1985.

The sword smith was born in Kanen 3rd (1750) and studied under Shitahara Yoshihide. He produced swords from Anei era (1772-1780) till mid-Bunsei era (around 1825) working in many different styles, copying the work of, among others, Tsuda Sukehiro, Shinkai and the early Bizen school. Matched pairs daisho of blades by this smith are rare and seldom offered for sale.
