Lot Essay

Trajan (AD 98-117) gained a large amount of territory for the empire, mainly in the Rhine, where two successful campaigns were fought againt the Dacians, commemorated in the famous Trajan's Column. He also gained terrority in Arabia Petraea and Armenia.
