A group of five tea-caddies (chaire), two incense containers (kogo), an incense burner (koro) and a stoneware container
19th/20th century
Three tea-caddies of cylindrical form and two of squat globular shape, covered with thick grey, green, black and purple glaze, ivory covers, 4.5-11 cm high; the incense burner with metal cover pierced with a basket weave pattern, 11.5 cm high; the Oribe container covered by a heavy crackled white glaze, one corner covered in green and decorated with plum blossoms, 12.5 x 12.5 x 9 cm; and two green glazed incense containers with covers, one with linear pattern in white and dark brown, 6 - 6.5 cm.
