For a fahua jar with peacocks, also decorated with a ruyi collar, refer to R. L. Hobson, The Wares of the Ming Dynasty, London, 1923, pl. 12. Another jar of this type in the Percival David Foundation, is illustrated by R. Scott, Ceramic Evolution of the Middle Ming Period, London, 1994, p. 25, no. 35.
