DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The exterior decorated with four circular medallions enclosing sprays of peony, lotus, chrysanthemum and plum blossoms within a gilt border, separated by four stylized scrolls of lotus blossoms and lingzhi fungus, all reserved on a lemon-yellow sgraffito ground, the interior painted in underglaze blue with a central medallion of further floral sprays within a double circle, below four ribbon-tied branches of the flowers of the four seasons
5¾ in. (14.6 cm.) diam.
