Lot 271 levels: three 6cm, three 6.5cm and three 7cm. Both lots have non-consecutive serial numbers. Lot 272 levels: three 4.5cm, four 5cm and five 6cm.
"Once again, curiously dry, light and lacking substance in 1964 but even at that stage, dramatically different in style to La Tâche, despite the vines being only a stone throw away and being harvested and vinified in the same cellars. After three years it had got over the shock of its first exposure, developing richly. More recently tasted alongside the Romanée-Conti: deeply coloured; fragrance more immediate and totally different; a good mouthful with time in hand. Last noted Sept 1997 ****(*)" MB, Vintage Wine
