A QAJAR ENAMELLED COPPER NARGILEH BOWL
IRAN, PROBABLY SHIRAZ, SECOND QUARTER 19TH CENTURY
Of typical flaring trumpet form, the exterior blue ground with four very finely enamelled roundels, two with very dense gul-o bulbul designs of flowers and birds, one of the others depicting a mother and child, the fourth showing a loving couple, the rich blue spandrels with raised gold dense floral designs and red central beads, a band of floral cartouches below, the interior plain green, simple turned wooden shaft, associated silver chains, slight restoration around rim
