IRAN, 19TH CENTURY
Of rectangular form with moulded decoration painted in blue, pink, black and turquoise over a white ground, a mounted prince with a falcon in his hand greets a mounted lady offering him a bouquet and holding a parasol, on a bed of naturalistic flowers, against a blue ground filled with individual flowering plants and with two shrines and a palace in the background, beneath a white border with scrolling floral foliage with nestling birds, excellent glaze surface, one very small chip but otherwise in very good condition
15¼ x 13¼in. (38.5 x 33.7cm.)
