A well engineerred exhibition standard electrified display 2in. Burrell 5n.h.p double crank compound three shaft, two speed Showman's Road Locomotive Reg. No.AD 7782 'Vectis II',
built by R. Adams with external details including cylinders, full motion with Stephenson's link reverse, mechanical lubricator, drip tray and drain pipes, cylinder drains and pipes, belt driven pickering governor, whistle, two road speeds and disc flywheel. Footplate backhead and other fittings include water and pressure gauges, working damper, steam valves, reversing lever, injector water valve, driver's seat and hand brake wheel. Chassis details include worm and roller chain steering, spoked straked wheels with rubber tyres and brass hubcaps, leaf sprung front axle, belly tank and water lift with suction hose, cable drum, cable and fairleads, wooden tool box, bucket, shovel, headlamps, full-length canvas-covered planked canopy with full lighting (12v) on barley twist supports, a 12v electric motor mounted in the dynamo casing with belt drive to the motion and many other fine details. Finished in maroon, black, yellow and polished brightwork with red, white, yellow and black-lining, the canopy sideboards lettered Chas Burrell & Sons Ltd. Engineers Thetford England.
