unsigned, the 3-inch dia. manuscript terrestrial globe with details penciled directly onto a grey-painted sphere and all but lines of latitude and longitude inked-over, showing continent names in English and variously coloured, raised with a white-painted Moon ball on a wire arm over various gear wheels (partially defective) on a horizontal brass arm from the candle-holder with guard, over an oval faux enamel horizon plate with days of the month, degrees, solstices and equinoxes, seasons, houses of the Zodiac and compass directions, mounted on a walnut box with ebonised edges and base, brass turning handle and a small brass-cased compass with ([?]later) paper showing cardinal points and Zodiacal sigils, with blued-steel needle, the arm -- 42.8cm.
