with blonde mohair, fixed bright blue eyes, hard stuffed body containing a squeaker, wax limbs with moulded grey and black high-heeled boots and original blue wool frock trimmed with ribands and lace --12½in. (32cm.) high (right arm damaged, squeaker inoperative); another with 18th century-style powdered wig --12½in. (32cm.) high; and a German dipped wax doll with moulded hair and snood, dark weighted eyes, cloth body with squeaker and turned wood limbs, dressed in white and gold striped silk gauze, 1860s --17½in. (44cm.) high (restored above eye, squeaker inoperative) (3)
