A PAIR OF CHINESE TURQUOISE-GLAZED FIGURES OF BUDDHIST LIONS
KANGXI (1662-1722)
Each modelled sitting on its haunches on a waisted rectangular pedestal, one with right paw resting on a brocade ball, the other playing with its young, covered overall in a crackled turquoise glaze
8 in. (20.3 cm.) high;
together with a pair of Chinese blue-glazed figures of Buddhistic lions, Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), one with one paw resting on a brocade ball, the other playing with its younch, covered overall in a deep blue glaze except for some details left in biscuit, 7 3/8 in. (18.8 cm.) high (4)
