A FINE CARVED WHITE JADE MOUNTAIN BOULDER
QIANLONG (1736-95)
Carved in varying relief to both sides with idyllic mountainous landscapes, the front with a tiered scene lined with pine and prunus trees between various pavilions and huts, all above a flowing river with two bridges, the reverse with prunus trees growing from craggy overhanging rocks forming crevices, the jade of an even pale tone with some minor darker inclusions, on a carved and pierced wood stand with ruyi, prunus and pine above foaming waves
