A PAIR OF CHINESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL MILLE FLEURS FLASKS
JIAQING (1796-1820)
Each with a circular body standing on a spreading base and below an upper bulb, applied with two gilt-metal dragon and geometric-scroll handles, the body enamelled on the front and back with a plethora of flowers visited by butterflies, the sides with the Eight Buddhist Emblems alternating with stylised lotuses, all between bands of stiff leaves around the neck and base, and below archaistic dragons amidst colourful cloud scrolls around the upper bulb
