Finely enamelled at the slightly concave centre with an elegant lady wearing ornately-decorated robes, seated beside a bamboo table and a large vase of peony, in conversation with two boys, one holding a book, within a pink cell-pattern band at the border embellished with peony, chrysanthemum, daisy and prunus heads, below a narrow pale coral and gilt castellated pattern band below the rim
