Decorated with the elaborate crested coat-of-arms accolées of Petrus Nahuys and Sara Catherine van Hoecke flanked by mantling, above a banderole inscribed P.N: S.C.V.H: 1719, the border with lambrequin motifs, the reverse with blue and white crowned intricate monogram above 1719, further with Taoist symbols
25.4 cm. diam.

D.G. van Epen, Adelsarchief, The Hague, 1903-1904, pp. 85-87 for Petrus Nahuys (19th of August 1692- 23th of July 1766) vicar in Monnickendam and Sara Catherine van Hoecke (deceased 1720), they married on the 28th of February 1719 in the Kloosterkerk, the Hague.
