Cal. 13''' VZ nickel-finished lever movement, 22 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, the triple-tone champagne dial with luminous Roman numerals on gold chapter ring, outer champagne Arabic five minute divisions and pink tachymetre scale, two champagne engine-turned subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds and 30 minutes register, in circular case with two oval chronograph buttons in the band, downturned lugs, snap on back, case, dial and movement signed

According to the Archives of Audemars Piguet, the present watch was sold on 27 July 1940.

This chronograph is fitted with one of the most unusual and exclusive dials ever to be found on any Audemars Piguet wristwatch. Compared to any other manufacturer, Audemars Piguet has made a much smaller number of chronographs, usually fitted with very elegant monochrome dials. The present dial, triple-tone with a variety of different surface finishes ranging from matte to mirrored and preserved in such condition, is extraordinarily exclusive.
