With nickel-finished fully jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, minute repeating on two polished steel hammers, gold cuvette with engraved inscription To my Wife August 12th, 1892, the white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, blued steel moon-style hands, subsidiary seconds, in small circular case with repeating slide in the band, cuvette and dial signed, case numbered

Henri Barbezat-Bôle (1851-1921), founder of H. Barbezat-Bôle SA Le Locle, was specialised in the manufacture of pocket and marine chronometers and repeating watches. He was the brother of Charles Barbezat-Baillot, owner of Le Phare.

Around 1929 Barbezat-Bôle SA joined Paul Buhré and became Paul Buhré & Henri Barbezat-Bôle SA.
