EINSTEIN IN THE U.S. NAVY. 'It is true that I have a sort of advisory position with the Navy. But I don't think much is going to come of it, as I am still far from fully informed on the actual responsibilities, and other qualified young men are working on these things on the ground'. Einstein has also been busy helping his son settle in the United States, and gives details of a discussion relating to Hans Albert's citizenship papers, and another attempting to find his son a post in an organisation for military scientific work, for which Hans Albert will need to supply a curriculum vitae and references.
