A MEISSEN GOLD-MOUNTED FRAUEN KOPF CANE-HANDLE
CIRCA 1745
The scroll handle painted with flowers and terminating in a small scroll-moulded escutcheon painted with a vignette, the stem with a continuous river landscape with figures by a monument, before a distant town with palaces and churches, above a facetted gilt-metal collar, the lady with a lace cap and a black choker with a bow (slight chipping to foot of stem under mount, sides with wear, further very slight wear)
