The scroll handle painted with bouquets, the lady with her head turned to her right, wearing a gilt-edged white and purple-dotted puce headscarf, a black ruff and a lace-edged puce and gilt bodice, moulded with gilt scrolls and foliage behind her shoulders and neck, the stem mounted with a collar edged with stiff-leaves (chipping to foot of stem under mount, very small chip to ruff, areas of sanding and slight wear)
