A SCHREZHEIM FAYENCE TABLE CENTREPIECE
CIRCA 1770, MANGANESE 4 MARK
Painted in blue, green, yellow and manganese, the shaped quatrefoil top with bouquets, flower-sprays and foliage, resting on four scrolling female caryatid supports joined by an X-framed stretcher formed by their extended hair, each support with a dolphin head lower part, on a similarly shaped quatrefoil stepped plinth base with flower-sprays and foliage (slight chipping and flaking to glaze, one 'stretcher' with extended firing crack)
