Modelled as a recumbent stag, painted in the Oriental style with flowering peony, chrysanthemum, prunus and insects on a turquoise mound, the cover with a flowering plant issuing from a scroll, the interior of the cover with two exotic insects (very minor rubbing to enamels, slight damage to mount)
