London: [Robert Caly], 1555. 4° (226 x 157mm), printed in red and black, double column, woodcut title border incorporating Caly device [McKerrow & Ferguson 48β], woodcut title border [McKerrow & Ferguson 59] and vignette to the Proprium, woodcut historiated, criblé and ornamental initials (title supplied from another copy, lacking first quire to Winter part, containing title and the calendar repeated, without final blank). 19th-century blindstamped brown morocco by J. Clarke, gilt edges. Provenance: St. Oswald is added in manuscript to the calendar -- Henry Huth (leather bookplate) -- Thomas Edward Watson (bookplate; by descent to the present owners). A reprint of Regnault's 1535 edition (STC 15833), retaining his colophon. STC on-line calls for the calendar quire to be repeated in both Summer and Winter parts; here it appears only once, as the first quire. The Psalter is in setting 2, with a1v col. 1 ending 'saluum'.
