Decorated overall with scrolling foliage, interlaced strapwork and lambrequins, the circular dial signed Mynuel A Paris on an enamel plaque beneath the chapter ring with white and blued Roman and Arabic enamel cartouches, engraved outer concentric minute ring, blue steel hands, centred by a medallion within foliate strapwork, the movement with rectangular brass plates with five vase-shaped pillars, twin spring barrels, verge escapement, calibrated countwheel strike on a bell, the backplate signed Mynuel AParis, the arched rectangular case edged with foliage and surmounted by a figure of fame representing Europe and Africa, on foliate scrolling feet, the tapering bracket mounted with lambrequins and terminating in a foliate trellis boss
