The rounded brèche d'Alep marble top above a shaped door inlaid with a central cartouche and mounted with a rockwork and scrolling foliate border and enclosing two shelves, the shaped angles headed by cabochon and rockwork-cast clasps reaching to similarly cast sabots, the marble inscribed 'Georges' and with restored break, the top with ink inscription '6'
