The oval case with polychrome enamel uprights to front and rear, the top mounted with six enamel butterflies and the base with foliate mounts all around, white enamel Roman dial with further butterfly mount, blued steel Breguet hands and sweep seconds, alarm ring below, the eight day twin barrel movement with silvered platform to bimetallic lever balance, strikework positioned on a back plate numbered 372 and with further Chinese inscription, strike/repeat on bell and alarm on further bell to base -- 6 in.
