The swan neck hood with pineapple finials and outset reeded columns, tracery arch trunk door flanked by further reeded columns, above plinth with canted angles and outswept feet, the 14 in. wide painted dial with Continent spandrels to Roman chapter ring, subsidiary seconds and date rings, signed Rob.t Roskell Liverpool, brass hands, the arch with moonphase, false plate to the eight day movement with four pillars, anchor escapement and rack strike on bell -- 95 in. (241.5 cm.) high; pendulum, two weights
