The two-tier box with bevelled top glass, wooden handles to the sides, numbered WEMPE plaque to the front, brass bowl and gimbal, white plastic Arabic dial with 56-hour up/down ring, signed CHRONOMETERWERKKE/WEMPE/HAMBURG and numbered 5642 to the centre of the seconds ring, chain fusee with Earnshaw type escapement, cut bimetallic balance with blued steel helical balance, spot-finished plates -- 7¼ in.
