The hood with brass-capped inset columns and glazed side panels, the trunk door with moulded frame and lenticle, on stepped plinth, the 10 in. square brass dial with cherub mask and foliate spandrels to silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with sword-hilt half hour markers, matted centre with subsidiary seconds ring, ringed winding holes, date ring with engraving around, steel hands, the eight day movement with five ringed pillars, anchor escapement and inside rack strike on bell, probably associated, late 17th/early 18th Century -- 77 in.
