MIDDLE KINGDOM, DYNASTY XI-XIV,
2040-1640 B.C.
Standing with his left leg advanced, his arms held at his sides (one preserved), wearing a long apron-fronted kilt, his navel indicated, the nipples inlaid in a contrasting material, his closely-cropped hair preserving black pigment, with almond-shaped eyes, the rims and pupils in black, a slender nose and fleshy lips drawn into a smile
