The case with brass handle to the inverted bell top, glazed sides, the moulded base with carved apron between the pad feet, dial signed Rich. Wilson London on a silvered plaque in the arch flanked by subsidiary dials for strike/silent and pendulum regulation, narrow silvered chapter ring with pierced blued steel hands, matted centre with calendar aperture, foliate spandrels, the movement with five pillars, twin fusees and spring barrels, wire lines, pivoted verge escapement, the pendulum suspended from an engraved regulation bar across the top of the plates, hour strike on a bell, the backplate profusely engraved with scrolling foliage with pendulum holdfast and signed Rich. Wilson London; together with an associated contemporary wall bracket with integral key drawer
