The case with pineapple finials to the bell top, brass caryatides to the chamfered angles, brass handles to the sides set with later sound frets, the brass-bound case on bracket feet, the later? dial signed James Clark London on a silvered plaque in the arch flanked by subsidiary dials for pendulum regulation and strike/silent within foliate engraving, silvered chapter ring with blued steel hands and matted centre with calendar aperture, foliate spandrels, the triple gut fusee movement with re-built verge escapement, striking the hours on a large bell and chiming the quarters on a nest of eight bells via eight hammers, foliate engraved backplate; case with restorations, movement and case possibly associated
