Although not directly related to a known painting, the present drawing is close in manner, particularly in the figure of the Virgin, to Schnorr's Holy Family in a Landscape of circa 1843, now in the Kunstsammlungen, Chemnitz (Religion Macht Kunst - Die Nazarener, exhib. cat., Frankfurt, Schirn Kunsthalle, 2005, pp. 196 and 274). Both works show Schnorr's deep immersion in the compositions of Raphael.
