Straight sided and with gadrooned rims, with a wood handle, the detachable cover with a vase shaped finial, with a compartment for water, engraved with an initial 'H' within a Garter motto and below a Royal Duke's coronet, marked on side, under base and inside cover

The initial is that of H.R.H. The Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester.
