The porringer cylindrical and on a spreading foot with a twisted wire, the lower part of the body applied with cut-card decoration, with two scroll handles, the detachable cover with three scroll feet, engraved with an inscription, the spoon with a trefid terminal, marked near handle and inside cover, the spoon marked on the back; with a card printed with the initial of Prince Henry below a Royal Duke's coronet, inscribed in an unknown hand 'From Lord Gort Godfather'
