Oval and on a plain collet foot, the rim engraved with a band of foliate scroll and lattice motifs, with an ebonised composition handle, the hinged cover with similar finial, engraved with an initial 'W' below a Royal Duke's coronet, marked underneath and inside cover

The initial is that of H.R.H. Prince William of Gloucester (1941-1972).
