The sugar-bowl cylindrical, the cream-jug oval, each on a collet foot and bright-cut with flowers and scrolls, further engraved with two cartouches, one engraved with an initial 'W' below a Royal Duke's coronet, the other vacant, the base engraved with an inscription, the openwork tongs engraved with initials 'AP to WP', the cream-jug and sugar-bowl each marked near handle, the tongs marked inside; with a Christmas card inscribed by Queen Mary 'For Little William Grannie Mary R 1944 Sugar Basin + Tongs Copy of Paul Lamerie'
