Oblong 4°, (335 x 420mm). One page of letterpress description, 14 hand-coloured lithographic plates, each surmounted with demonic head pieces. (Spotting and small tears to margins of plates, tear to plate 12 extending from lower margin just into image). Original cloth backed printed buff coloured wrappers (worn and rubbed with small tears to edges and some small loss).

Johnson's curious and amusing moral tale of the demise of the gambler from his youth to the Mad House; together with Souvenir de Londres, Paris, 1826, oblong 4to, 12 hand-coloured lithographic plates, contemporary half roan, original wrappers bound in. (2)
