Lot Essay
This form of turning bookstand-table (bibliothéque-table or liseuse) was popular in the 1880s and bears the brass label of the celebrated Charlot workshops of Paul Somani's widow and son Paul-Charles, who participated in the Paris Exposition Universalle of 1878.
