FIRST EDITION, later issue of Wodehouse's fifth book. William Tell was first published in November 1904 (priced 6 shillings), and McIlvaine lists 4 reissues (one earlier than this of c. 1907); this re-issue bears the price '6/-' on the spine, indicating that it was published shortly after the first edition (probably c. 1907). McIlvaine A5a5.
