The interior decorated with a medallion of a pair of birds amidst flowering branches below a diaper band at the brown-dressed, petal-molded rim, the exterior decorated with eight flower sprays representing repeated images of lotus, prunus, camellia and chrysanthemum, an apocryphal Jiajing mark on the base
