A Damascus pottery bowl, Central Persia, Circa 1200
Painted in red, turquoise, cobalt blue and black with a central roundel of two birds and a camel, within a border of pseudo naskh panels and palmettes on scrolling foliate grounds -- 6¾in. (17cm) diam.
