A Louis XV style ormolu and patinated bronze mantel clock
Late 19th Century
Surmounted by a winged putto and scallop shell amidst swirling clouds and trailing foliage, above a barrel-form clockcase centred by a circular enamel dial with Roman and Arabic chapters and twin-train movement, the dial inscribed Leroy/A Paris, supported by a bull on a naturalistic base with scrolled feet, the works stamped LFA/4
