Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered dial, applied yellow gold indexes and pulsometer scale in 1938 and its subsequent sale on 31 May 1938.

This watch is one of the earliest known examples of a reference 130 chronograph. Fitted with a very interesting and exceedingly rare two-tone silvered dial, featuring the typical late 1930s sector design combined with the very architectural rectangular applied hour markers, it also shows the lesser known pulsation scale, all confirmed by the Extract from the Archives.

It is thought that less than 40 examples of reference 130 were fitted with a sector dial out of which very few featured in addition the pulsation scale. The present watch is believed to be the only reference 130 in yellow gold with sector dial and pulsometer known to date. Its rarity is further enhanced by the unusual retailer signature Walser Wald for Walser, Wald & Cia., Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina, one of Patek Philippe's most prominent retailers in South America.
