Each cup painted with a British bird in river landscape signed J. McLaughlin, on a pale yellow and raised gilt ground, in a case and with certificate presented by the Lord Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent
This is to certify that this Coffee Set is one of a limited edition of 50 sets decorated with a First Series of handpainted British Birds in their natural habitats, depicting the following subjects:-
LAPWING - Vanellus vanellus
OYSTERCATCHER - Haematopus ostralegus
COMMON SANDPIPER - Tringa hypoleucos
TUFTED DUCK - Aythya fuligula
MALLARD - Anasplatyrhyncos
