With one-piece skull embossed with six ribs radiating from a ring finial, fitted with pointed peak boldly struck with a series of armourer's marks, sliding nasal locked by a wing-screw, broad neck-guard of four lames, pendant pierced cheek-pieces, and retaining its early blackened arsenal finish (internal leathers replaced).
