A COMPOSITE BASKET-HILTED BROADSWORD
19th Century
With earlier double-edged blade cut with a series of narrow fullers over its lower half on both sides, struck with a pair of S-shaped marks on both sides and the outer face cut with running wolf mark, iron basket-hilt of regulation type, associated fluted pommel, and wire-bound wooden grip.
