AN UNUSUAL FLINTLOCK BELT PISTOL MADE ENTIRELY OF STEEL
Early 18th/early 19th Century
Adapted from an English turn-off pistol, with cannon barrel, moulded breech signed 'John Williams' below the pan and struck with maker's mark 'I.W' crowned, later plain butt with 'ram's horn' pommel, pierced cock, pricker, button trigger and belt hook, London proof marks.
